15 Minute Dish Soap Dispenser

I love being inspired by the ideas of others. This was inspired by the recycled dish soap dispenser from The V Spot and Dip Dot Painting by Mural Maker and More. I wanted an upright soap dispenser, so I found this glass soap dispenser in the bathroom section at Target. The Martha Stewart Glass Paints can be bought at Michael’s.

I swirled together two colors to get the blue I wanted.

Using the eraser end of an old pencil, I dipped the pencil in the paint, and then applied dots of paint in clusters to resemble soap bubbles. Just touching the eraser directly to the glass, and lifting up.

Then I wrote “Dish Soap” in red glass paint, using it directly out of the bottle, which has this fantastic fine tip.

All that was left was to wait for the paint to dry, then fill it up! I could cure it in the oven according to the directions on line, but leaving it to air set will work as well.

All this week I’m teaming with The Country Chic Cottage to share fast FIFTEEN minute crafts! If you’re a blogger with a great 15 minute craft tutorial, link it up and you might get featured! Make sure to come back each day to see what quick crafts we’ve been up to!
