Supplies:
Black construction paper
Wooden Skewers
Hot Glue
Cutting Machine for shapes (I used my eClips2, if you have a Silhouette or Cricut, that would work as well)
OR scissors and stencils or animal print-outs
Flashlight
Optional: Book “Shadow Play”
Cut your shapes from the black construction paper using whatever technique you prefer.
Use a line of hot glue to secure them to the skewers.
Allow the glue to cool, then create fun stories using a flashlight to project the shadows onto the wall!
This was a fun craft for us to do after we read the beautifully illustrated children’s book “Shadow Play.” A fun way for children to use their imaginations with very simple toys.
