Paper Christmas Trees

These little paper Christmas Tree decorations take only a couple minutes to make, and are an insanely easy (and inexpensive) way to add a festive touch to any space. Perfect for school, church, or scouting events where you want to add a touch of the holiday spirit on a budget!

Modern 3D Paper Tree

To make your tree, you’ll need green scrapbook paper, and the right printable or cut file for cutting.

To hand cut, use this printable.
To cut with your Silhouette, use this Silhouette cut file.
And you’ll need hot glue.

These trees were actually inspired by this photo from this month’s Family Circle Magazine. See those trees up on the top shelf? Yes, they look nothing like these – but that’s where this idea came from!

Slip the top piece into the bottom piece using the top and bottom notches. Lay flat. Run a line of hot glue down the crease from top to bottom.

Quickly, before the glue cools, open up the two layers so they are at a right angle. If needed, add another line of hot glue along one of the other seams to help secure.
