Make your own Sewing Pin with this DIY Butterfly Pin

Plain sewing pins are fine, but they can be a little plain. Have fun dressing up your sewing pins using this fun method! This is perfect for celebrating Pins and Needles day , which is celebrated on November 27th!

Make your own DIY Butterfly Pins

To make your pins, you’ll need:
Regular Sewing Pins
Glitter Hot Glue
Silicone Molds
Glue Gun

Heat up your hot glue gun. Fill the mold with glitter hot glue.

Before the glue cools, dip in the end of the pin, spin it around, and then set onto the mold as shown.

allow to cool

Allow the glue to cool completely before removing. Make as many as you like! Just be sure to keep these pins away from the heat of your iron!
