Deconstructed Fudge Bites

These Deconstructed Fudge Bites aren’t entirely deconstructed. But they are yummy, and they taste like real fluffy fudge – without all the work! The secret is using milk chocolate. Fudge has sweetened milk in it, and using milk chocolate instead of  semisweet makes all the difference.

Here is what you need:

Milk Chocolate Chips (must be MILK Chocolate)
Large Marshmallows

Directions:
Melt the Milk Chocolate Chips in a double boiler (just a bowl set on top of a pan with water – the water should not touch the bottom of the bowl). The chocolate goes in the top bowl, and slowly melts.

Stir occasionally, to get the chocolate fully melted.

Dip each marshmallow into the chocolate, and set aside on parchment paper, wax paper, or a plate.

Allow to set. This will take a couple hours. Be patient. Do NOT put in the fridge or your chocolate will not set right, and have funny marks all over it.

Once the chocolate is set (4-6 hours, depending on your room temperature), put in a sealed container to keep the marshmallows from drying out.

Enjoy! As you chew, the marshmallows and chocolate come together, so it tastes like real, yummy fudge! You can pop these chocolate covered marshmallows into cocoa, or just eat them as they are.

I’ve partnered with a BUNCH of other bloggers to share over 50 sweet treats with you today! Make sure you check below to see all the other sweet treats!

Paper Bow

Looking for a unique bow to put on Christmas gifts this year? Maybe you’re giving gift cards and want to dress up the envelope with a beautiful bow. Or you could be like me with a cat who chews on curling ribbon… This awesome paper bow is easy to make, looks beautiful, and you can even make them ahead to pop on packages as you wrap them!

Simple, Fast Christmas Decor

After my first baby was born, we had family photos taken. I got them in time for Christmas, so I framed the photos for the Aunties and Grandmas and put them under the tree. I framed ours and hung them on the wall. When my sister-in-law arrived the day before Christmas, she saw the photos on the wall and asked why we hadn’t sent her copies. Of course, it was because hers were already wrapped and under the tree… but I couldn’t tell her that! The idea below would have prevented that uncomfortable situation and provided some fun holiday decor at the same time! Just grab last year’s wrapping paper… and… well… I won’ spoil it for you, go check out this fast holiday decor.

Popcorn and Bead Garland

This is a fun and colorful update to the traditional popcorn garland from when I was a kid. Chances are you have some of these pony beads hanging out around your house – and what a fun way to incorporate them in your holiday decor!

Once you’ve tried pony beads – try adding other items to your popcorn garlands – bells, pasta, perler beads, buttons… whatever you like!

Holiday Shopping Spree!

Cyber Monday Giveaway

I’ve already started my holiday shopping! I’m still waiting on lists from a couple family members, but I’ve already made a sizeable dent. Of course, that usually means that the toughest people to buy for are still on my list… like my husband. He’s always tough to shop for… but I’m sure I’ll come up with something!

Do you have someone who is tough to shop for? Well… I have a solution for you! Some of my bloggy friends and I are offering up a shopping spree of gift cards to some of our favorite places to shop. Enter to win, and you could check quite a few people off of your list! Or, you could skip the shopping and just give them the gift cards! And if you’re one of the lucky few who has already finished shopping, you can use these to shop for yourself!

Jingle All The Way Framed Bells

I love bells. When I was in Junior High my best friend and I wore bells on our socks all December. We started with one bell on the first of December, and added a bell each day until school let out for the holidays. When the two of us walked to our classes together, we were a festive cacophony! Normally, anything that reminds me of Junior High is tainted… but not bells. I still love hearing jingle bells. Especially bells ringing in the snow, so early that the world is still asleep. That is the defining sound of the holidays for me. I love the idea of commemorating that sound with jingle bells framed in a shadow box!

Fast & Easy Christmas Bunting

I love this bunting! I made something similar for a baby shower a couple weeks ago. One of my challenges was knowing how long to make my bunting. With the technique used here, you hang your string first, so that your bunting is always the perfect length! Check out how this fun, fast, and easy Christmas bunting is made, and you’ll know exactly how to make similar bunting for all your favorite holidays!
