When I saw this Monogram at JoAnn’s, I knew it would make the perfect fast and easy craft! This monogram with succulents is great decor for in a garden, on a porch, or in the house… and comes together in minutes!

You’ll need:
Metal Monogram in your choice of letter
Moss or filler of your choice
Faux Succulents from FloraCraft

Fold up the tabs to remove the wire.

Take out the wire and fill with moss.

Replace the wire mesh, and fold the tabs back in place. Tuck in the succulents.

Star Earrings

Stars are so much fun to wear, and even more so when they sparkle! These sparkly star earrings are easy to make, and add some style to any outfit!

To make these star earrings, you’ll need:
Jewelry Chain
Star Crystals
Jewelry Wire
Jewelry Pliers
Earring Wires

Cut 6″ lengths of jewelry wire.

Thread the wire through the hole in the top of the star crystals. Twist.

Thread through the bottom loop of the jewelry chain. Wrap the wire back around itself to secure.

Add the earring wire to the top of the chain.

Repeat for the second earring.

Bird House Planter

Simple to Make Birdhouse Planter

You’ll need:
Wooden Birdhouses (look for ones where the roof is not firmly attached, if you can)
Craft Knife
Chalky Paint
Paintbrush
Small Potted Plants

If you can, find birdhouses where the lid is not securely glued on.

Use the craft knife to carefully remove the lids. This will allow you to lift up the lids and water the plants as needed.

Paint the base and roof with your Chalk paint. Allow to dry completely.

Remove the plants from their containers. Split up as needed. Insert into the hole at the front of the birdhouse.

Through the open roof, tamp down the soil. Add additional soil as needed.

Replace the roof, and enjoy!

Supplies:

Faux Pearl Beads
1/2″ Ribbon
Sturdy Thread

In most cases the ribbon will be too thick to push through the hole of the beads. So, we’re going to pull it through instead! Cut a 12″ length of thread. Fold in half. Feed through a bead so that there is a loop on one side, and the two tails on the other.

Feed the ribbon through the loop, then firmly pull the ends of the thread to pull the ribbon through.

Add an overhand knot, and repeat until you have as many faux pearls as you like.

Tie the ends behind your neck to wear.

You’ll need:
Stud Earring Blanks
Lego Studs
High-quality Glue
Styrofoam base

Remove the backs from the earrings, and insert the points of the earrings into the styrofoam to keep them still while the glue sets. Add a drop of glue to the top of each.

Put a Lego stud on top of each earring blank. Wipe away any excess glue, if needed.

Allow glue to dry according to the manufacturer instructions, then wear and enjoy!

DIY Paper Clock with Free Silhouette Cut File

This paper clock takes only minutes to make – it is an easy-to-make tool to help children learn how to tell time – and it costs just a few pennies to make! Take an evening to make clocks for an entire class of students, or make several clocks to teach children how to identify bathtime or bedtime.

To make the clock you’ll need:
Paper in 2 contrasting colors
Silhouette machine and mat
Silhouette clock cut file
(or the mini clock file)
Glue stick
Paper Fastener (brad)

Cut the background circle and hands from one color, and the face from another.

Glue the face to the back.

Glue in the centers of the 4, 6, 8, 9, and 0.

Use brad to fasten the hour and minute hands.

Bunny Necklace

Laser-cut wooden cut-outs of all kinds can be found at crafts stores, and make great (and simple) necklaces! Find out how this laser-cut wooden bunny becomes a necklace in only a few steps!

DIY Wooden Bunny Necklace

You’ll need:
Wooden Bunny (or other laser-cut design)
Chalk Paint
Wax for chalk paint
Paint Brush
Soft Cloth
Jump ring
Necklace, chain, or ribbon to hang from

Make sure your wooden cut-out has a hole at the top for hanging. If not, you can drill a hole now, or add a bail at the end with glue.

Paint the wooden laser-cut with your choice of color.

Allow to dry. Then paint on wax.

Allow to dry, then buff with a soft cloth for a velvety look.

Attach jump ring to top (or glue on bail if you don’t have a hole), and add chain!

Paper Basket

This sweet little paper basket is perfect as a party favor. You can write names on them and use them as placecards. They’re great to bring to school for school parties… there are so many uses for these easy to make and inexpensive paper baskets!

Mini Egg Basket

You’ll need:
Paper
Hot Glue
Silhouette Basket Cut File
Something fun to fill your basket!

Use your Silhouette machine to cut out the basket, then fold on the dotted lines.

Glue flaps down to make the basket shape.

Put the top tabs together, then add a dab of glue under each.

Careful not to burn yourself on the hot glue, press down to secure.

Bunny Hair Clip

These bunny hair clips are a great kid craft – fun for keeping kids busy while on spring break, or on the weekends. They can make lots and lots to share with friends. These can also be used as decorations on gifts!

You’ll need:
Hair clip
Wooden pieces (from craft supply store)
Hot Glue
White and Pink paint
Fine-tip permanent marker
Paint brush

 

Start by adding glue to the clip.

Secure to the large wooden oval.

Using hot glue, attach the smaller pieces for ears.

Paint white.

Add a little pink for the bunny’s ears and nose.

Wait for all the paint to dry completely (overnight) before attempting to add the details. If the paint is even a little damp, the pen will make a mess rather than write.

Then add the details – eyes, eyelashes, whiskers, teeth.

Chocolate Carrots Card

You’ll need:
Lindt Chocolate Carrots
Scissors
Tape
Love you Bunches Carrot Printable

Print out your printable, and cut out the pieces.

Fold in half, gently, without creasing. Cut a slit about 1.5″ up from the bottom of the heart.

Put the carrots, point down, into the slit.

Place the bar over the top, and tape around the back.
